    SAT Instinct is operated by Learnwithleaders. We run live, 10-week SAT and PSAT preparation cohorts, delivered on Zoom and led by Harvard student mentors. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use satinstinct.com and our programs, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have.

    SAT Instinct is an independent program and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Harvard University or the College Board. SAT® and PSAT™ are trademarks of the College Board.

    1. Who We Are

    SAT Instinct is operated by Learnwithleaders, with operations in Singapore, Dubai (United Arab Emirates), and Delhi (India). Learnwithleaders is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

    2. Information We Collect

    Information you give us

    • Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We never receive your Google password.
    • Application and form information: Details you submit through our application and other forms, such as your name, email address, phone number, country, grade, school, target test date, current or target SAT/PSAT scores, and any messages you send us.
    • Parent or guardian information: If a parent or guardian applies, communicates, or pays on behalf of a student, we collect their name and contact details.
    • Program information: Cohort enrollment, session attendance, practice work, assessments, and progress.

    Information collected automatically

    • Device and usage information, such as browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location based on IP address.
    • Essential cookies and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and make the site work.

    Payment information

    • Payments are processed securely by Stripe and Razorpay. They collect and process your card or payment details directly. We do not store full card numbers or banking credentials on our servers. We receive only limited confirmation details, such as payment status, amount, and date.

    3. How We Use Your Information

    We use your information to:

    • Create and manage your account
    • Review applications and enroll students in cohorts
    • Deliver live sessions on Zoom and share course materials
    • Track progress and provide personalized feedback
    • Communicate with students and parents/guardians about schedules, programs, and updates
    • Process payments and issue receipts
    • Respond to questions and support requests
    • Improve our website and programs
    • Keep our services secure and comply with legal obligations

    We do not sell personal information. We do not use students' personal information for targeted advertising, and we do not track or monitor the behavior of minors for advertising purposes.

    4. Legal Basis and Consent

    We process personal information based on your consent, to provide the services you have requested, and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting team@learnwithleaders.com. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide some or all of our services to you.

    5. How We Share Information

    We share personal information only with trusted service providers that help us operate SAT Instinct, and only as needed for that purpose:

    • Supabase: database hosting, authentication, and file storage
    • Google: account sign-in
    • Stripe and Razorpay: payment processing
    • Zoom: delivery of live sessions
    • Our mentors: who see only the student information they need to teach and support their cohort

    We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

    6. Students Under 18

    Our programs are designed for high school students, many of whom are under 18.

    • If you are under 18, you may use SAT Instinct only with the knowledge and consent of your parent or guardian. Where the law requires it, we obtain verifiable parental or guardian consent before processing a minor's personal information.
    • Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, contact team@learnwithleaders.com and we will delete it promptly.
    • Parents and guardians may contact us at any time to review, correct, or delete their child's personal information, or to withdraw consent.

    7. Live Sessions on Zoom

    Live sessions take place on Zoom. Zoom processes information such as your name, email, and session participation under its own privacy policy. If we ever record a session, we will tell participants in advance, and recordings will be used only for educational purposes within the cohort.

    8. International Data Transfers

    We operate in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and India, and our service providers may store or process information in other countries, including the United States. When we transfer personal information across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

    9. Data Retention

    We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our programs. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable time, unless we must keep it longer to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

    10. Data Security

    We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and trusted infrastructure providers. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where required by law.

    11. Your Rights

    Depending on where you live, including under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you may have the right to:

    • Access the personal information we hold about you
    • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
    • Request deletion of your information
    • Withdraw consent at any time
    • Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to (where applicable)
    • Raise a grievance or complaint about how we handle your information

    To exercise any of these rights, email team@learnwithleaders.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the data protection authority in your country.

    12. Cookies

    We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and make the site work. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some features, such as signing in, may stop working.

    13. Third-Party Links

    Our site may link to other websites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their privacy policies.

    14. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or through a notice on our site.
